What do you get when you combine four friends and 505 fish? How about over $75,000 raised to fund research to provide life-changing treatments for children and young adults with cystinosis! In addition to the near record catch of fish, my dad and his friends also pulled a kayaker out of the 40-some degree river water after his kayak capsized. For the second year in a row, Ralph took the crown this year with hefty haul of 144 shad! The near record catch, along with a matching pledge from a donor, resulted in a huge win for me and my friends with every dollar going directly to cystinosis research. We are again thankful to everyone who was able to make a donation and bring us one step closer to a cure.
